About yooev
yooev is a free, login-free EV platform for India. We map public chargers, layer crowd-verified reliability on top, and add the daily context — prices, subsidies, news — that EV ownership actually needs.
Why we exist
India’s charging network is growing fast, but a pin on a map says nothing about whether the charger behind it is powered on, blocked, or broken. Every failed stop costs a driver time, range, and a little bit of trust in going electric.
Station locations are open data. What is missing is the truth on the ground — and the people who have it are the drivers standing at the charger. yooev exists to collect that truth, anonymously, and hand it to the next driver for free.
What we build
Station locations from Open Charge Map and Google Places, with a crowd-verified layer on top that says whether a charger is actually working right now.
Open
State-by-state subsidies, registration, and road tax, worked into indicative on-road prices for two-, three-, and four-wheelers.
Open
Short, practical reporting on charging, prices, and policy — written for drivers, not for the industry.

How the reliability layer works
One anonymous tap at the station: working, partial, or broken. No account, no app install.
Check-ins roll into a live reliability score and a last-confirmed time for every station.
Less time gambling on pins, more time driving. The more drivers check in, the better it gets.
Our principles

Questions, corrections, or a station we should cover?
We read everything. The fastest way to improve the map, though, is to check in at a charger.
